Did you know that Rosario was home to the largest casino in Latin America?
Until a few years ago, casinos were prohibited in the Province of Santa Fe. Gamblers had to travel to neighbouring provinces such as the provinces of Buenos Aires, Cordoba or Entre Rios to find this kind of entertainment. But as soon as the new gambling law was passed, investors in the city of Rosario did not hesitate to see big.

In late 2009, City Center Rosario opened its doors to the public and was an instant hit, over 110,000 persons visited the complex in the first two weeks of opening. This huge facility includes a 5 star hotel – Pullman Hotel (one of the 2 in Rosario), a convention center, various restaurants and bars, a small shopping mall and a large concert hall.
The casino counts with nearly 3000 slot machines, many table games, Â a VIP area, a large lounge bar/restaurant with a stage for live events and even a popular bingo hall.
World Class Luxury in Rosario
The casino and the Pullman hotel are only a couple of years old, but already  they are popular destinations in Rosario with national and international tourists. The Pullman City Center Rosario was the winner of the Traveller’s Choice Award 2013 on tripadvisor.com.ar.
Since its opening, I had the pleasure of visiting the complex on various occasions, I saw a concert, attended a couple of conferences at the convention center and ate at 2 of its restaurants. One day, I even spent some time in the luxurious spa.
if you are visiting Rosario, I would certainly recommend you to visit the City Center Rosario, stay at the Pullman Hotel, watch poker players in the casino or even maybe enjoy a cocktail by the side of the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel.
